This iPad application is designed for companies seeking a streamlined method for drafting job proposals in mobile environments. It is particularly useful for professionals engaged in contract work who require quick and efficient proposal creation.

Usage Instructions

• Launch Simple Job Proposal on your iPad and complete the fields provided with the customer’s details, including name, date, address, phone number, email, as well as the job title and location.
• Use the larger text area to input specific job proposal details.
• Specify the total amount and the cancellation period applicable to the proposal.
• Sign your name in the designated signature area using your finger.
• Hand over the iPad to the customer for them to input the date and provide their signature.
• Tap the email button to send a copy of the completed proposal to the customer. Optionally, send a copy to yourself for record-keeping. The proposal is automatically stored as a PDF attachment in the email.

This process eliminates issues related to illegible handwriting and reduces misunderstandings. Additionally, it supports environmental sustainability by minimizing paper usage.

Procedure for Signing

1. Use your finger to sign within the signature line provided.
2. For enhanced precision, a Pogo Stylus can be purchased from tenonedesign.com; however, your finger suffices for basic signing needs.

Managing Signatures

• If you're dissatisfied with your signature, double-tap on it to delete and reattempt signing.
• Avoid signing hastily; small, deliberate strokes tend to produce clearer signatures. Take your time for optimal results.

Important Note

Inputted information is temporarily stored during editing but will not be saved if you close and reopen the app. It is recommended to email the completed proposal immediately after signing to ensure records are maintained before returning the device to another user.

Setup Instructions

Loading a Company Logo

• Tap on “Load Logo” and follow on-screen prompts.
• The app displays a URL; ensure your iPad is connected to a wireless network.
• From a desktop or laptop on the same network, enter this URL into your web browser (Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome).
• Remember to include "http://".
• Within the webpage that opens, select “Choose File” to locate your logo image. The file must be named “logo.png” with a size ideally at 100 x 100 pixels.
• Click “Submit” and then tap “Done” on your iPad. The logo will then display within the app interface.

Updating Company Information

• Tap “Change Company” and enable editing of fields such as company name, address lines, phone number, fax, or website.
• Enter details via the keyboard and tap “Save” once complete.
